Each issue of the Quarterly varies radically in theme and content. To help you out here is a short description of what we are looking for the first issue.

Issue 1: Audio – Audio art, short story and poetry readings, radio dramas, anything and everything that can be done with sound is on the table. If you don’t have a microphone fret not! We will be accepting stories and poetry in glorious text as well. In fact, if you have a story/poetry submission we’d prefer if you sent a text version. If you do have a kick ass audio file waiting for our eager ears, it would be great if you could send a text transcript as well.

We only accept submissions via email. I recommend .doc or .rtf files as I cannot guarantee we will be able to read anything else. Try to have your contact info in the word document. Audio submissions for issue one should be in mp3 or a similar lossy encoding. If your audio is accepted then we will contact you about obtaining the higher quality versions.

The One Night Only is a small magazine and as such we offer contributor copies as compensation.

Try to keep the word counts below 4000.

We claim First North American Serial Rights.
